LTL PIKELETS

Description:
NANNA WRIGHT'S PIKELETS
Prep: 5 mins
Cooking time: 5-10 mins
(Nut free and egg free)


Recipe Information:

 

1 cup self-raising flour

¼ tsp bi-carb soda

2 tsp sugar

1 cup milk

1 tbsp white vinegar

1 tbsp melted butter


Method:

 

·         Sift dry ingredients

·         Add sugar, milk and butter and whisk until smooth

·         Melt small amount of butter in frypan and place tablespoonfuls of mixture on frypan

·         When bubbles appear turn over and cook on other side until golden brown.  Top with your favourite topping.

·         NOTE- you can add various ingredients into this pikelet mixture (e.g. Mashed banana for banana pikelets or finely chopped cooked meats/vegies for bubble & squeak.)
