LTL BRAINSTORM SLICE

Description:
LTL BRAINSTORM SLICE with brown rice puffs

Prep: 10 mins
Cooking time: 15 mins
(Nut free and egg free)


Recipe Information:

 

½ cup of oats
1 cup Quinoa flakes
½ cup organic brown rice puffs
¾ cup of brown sugar
1 cup of natural coconut
1 cup of flour (LTL used organic rye flour)
1 tablespoon cacao powder
200g butter
2 tablespoons golden syrup
2 tablespoons of cacao nibs


Method:

  1. Mix together dry ingredients except cacao nibs
  2. Melt butter, add syrup
  3. Stir butter and syrup mix into dry ingredients until combined
  4. Stir in cacao nibs
  5. Press into a greased tray using the back of a spoon (about 1.5cm thick)
  6. Bake at 180 degrees celsius for 15 minutes or until golden
  7. Remove from oven and press slice down again
  8. Cut while hot and leave to cool in the tray.
