VEGEMITE & CHEESE SCROLLS

VEGEMITE & CHEESE SCROLLS

Cooking: 15-20 mins
(Nut free and egg free)


Recipe Information:

 

2 sheets puffed pastry

Vegemite

Grated cheese


Method:

 

· Oven 200 degrees celsius (fan forced).

· Line oven tray and spray with a little oil.

· Spread desired amount of vegemite on each sheet of puffed pastry.

· Sprinkle with grated cheese (approximately ½ -¾ cup per sheet).

· Roll up pastry into a large log. (NOTE: At this point I froze one roll to bake at another time.) Cut roll into slices about 1.5cm thick.

· Place scrolls flat onto tray.

· Bake for 15 minutes or until golden.

Store in an airtight container and consume within 24 hours - if they last that long!
